Industry 4.0 is gathering momentum globally, and many companies are looking to adopt technologies such as data analytics and Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) to improve their manufacturing competitiveness. While the Industry 4.0 concept offers significant potential, the requirements for a successful transition go far beyond technology change.
The Assessor program aims to develop Industry 4.0 assessment competency among the participants through practical exercises. The session is conducted in three phases to enable the participants to apply learning to their organizational setting. The faculty will guide participants for the effective assessment. The participants can independently do self-assessment after the intensive course of 5 days. The focus will be on assessment outcome for business excellence.

Phase 1: (Duration – 2 Days)
Ø Need, advantages, limitations and methodology of Assessment, Skills for assessment, Pre-requisites of Assessment
Ø Assessment techniques- offline and online, Industry 4.0 Maturity Assessment Models, Assessment Instruments, Assessment Planning, Action Planning and Reporting
Ø Work out on Assessment Plan and Instrument Customization
Ø Overview of Industry 4.0 for Business Excellence – IIoT, AI, Machine Learning, Cyber- Physical Systems, Big Data Analytics, Smart Factory, Digitization- RPA, Manufacturing and Business Process Optimization, Case Studies
Ø Work out on application of Industry 4.0
Phase 2: (Duration – 2 Days)
Ø Business Scenario Assessment- Strategic Objectives, Key Goals and KPI trend analysis, Industry and competition maturity on Industry 4.0, Cost Structure Analysis, Productivity, Energy, OEE, Rework, Customer Feedback and other trend analysis and opportunity identification
Ø Workout on Identification of Strategic needs and opportunities from Industry 4.0
Ø Industry 4.0 based Improvement project planning, Business Case Preparation, Commercial feasibility Assessment- ROI, NPV, IRR
Phase 3: (Duration – 1 Day)
Ø Implementation Risk Identification
Ø Work Out on Assessment Report Preparation and Presentation
Ø Case Studies
(Note: Some topics will be customized and modified based on phase 1 of the program to meet the participant needs.)
Ø There will be a written examination at the end of the course.
Ø Minimum passing criteria: 60%.
Issue of Certificate
Ø Candidates successfully completing the course with a minimum of 60% in the written examination will be presented with TÜV SÜD South Asia – CII’s certificate
Ø Unsuccessful candidates will be issued a certificate of participation
